OBJECT OF THE GAME
This is an ideally game for elderly as well as young generation. It is perfect for normal family gathering, church fellowship, cell groups’ activities etc. The main objective of the game is to let the players enhance their Bible knowledge and to improve a closer relationship among themselves.
EXPLAINATION
- There are altogether 80 cards in every pack of playing cards. i.e. 66 cards printed with each book of the Bible, 4 reverse cards, 4 skip cards, 4 white angel cards and 2 black angel cards.
- Players must discard all the cards in hand according to the regulation as soon as possible.
- This game is suitable to minimum 2 players and above. However, it will be more challenging if more players taking part.
- The game will become more challenging if additional packs of playing cards are used together.
- During the game, players can refer to Bible if they are not familiar with the books of the Bible.
REGULATION
- At the beginning, players can decide themselves the numbers of cards should be distributed per person. Normally, it will be satisfactory that each player can get 12 to 14 cards.
- From the cards in hand, player must try their best to arrange consecutively 4 or more cards according to the books of the Bible. E.g. 4 cards namely, “Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers”.
- If players are unable to make up minimum 4 or more cards in consecutive order to the books of the Bible, then they must choose to discard one of the cards in hand and pick up a new card until them posses a sequence of such cards.
- In time of picking, player can either choose to pick up the former player’s abandoned card or a new card which has not open on the table.
- ANGEL CARDS: Consists of white and black angels.
a. White angel is a helpful angel.
White angel card can act as a replacement to the missing cards printed with the books of the Bible. E.g. “Genesis, White angel card, Leviticus, Numbers”.
b. Black angel is a wicked angel.
When a player discarded a black angel card meaning that the next player must collect extra 4 cards.
- REVERSE CARD: It helps to reverse the sequence of the game.
- SKIP CARD: It helps to sustain the next player’s turn for one round.
- After succeeded for the fist time to discard 4 or more cards in a sequence to the books of the Bible, a PASS will be awarded.
- With this PASS, player is allowed to continue to discard each time minimum 3 or more cards in a sequence to the books of the Bible until there is none in hand.
- With this PASS, player can also take the following steps to finished their duty rapidly:
a. “Bang” card:
If the card you want for has been discarded by other player, you can shout aloud “Bang” in order to skip others and pick up that card despite it was not your turn to play. For the replacement, you must also discard a card after banging the card.
b. Exchange white angel card:
If there is a white angel card on the table and you have such related card in hand, then you may use your related card to exchange for that white angel card. E.g. on the table there are “Genesis, White angel card, Leviticus, Numbers”, in this case the white angel card represent “Exodus”. If you have the “Exodus” card in your hand, you can use it to exchange for that white angel card.
c. Join card:
Each time can join 1 or more suitable cards on other players discarded cards. E.g. other players have discarded “Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers”, and in your hand you have “Deuteronomy”, “Joshua”, “Judges” etc, you can join them together.
- The one who is the fastest at discarding all the cards in hand is the winner of the game.
